Tsunosaki Buddha

Highlight

It is five stone Buddhas carved on the cliff face of the rocky mountain along the Tsubo River in Tsunosaki, Shingu town.
One of them (in the left of the photo) has an inscription, and it is believed that it was carved in October 1354, when the number of times of Fujiwara Atsushi (unreadable) was reached.
Along with the four Jizou that are further upstream (right photo), they were gathering the faith of the people who came and gone in the “passing of a sleeping pot” in Misasa (Minasaka) Road and Inaba (Inaba) Road. I will.
