Shingu Miyauchi ruins

Highlight

The ruins of the settlement are located in Shingu town Shingu and Miyauchi, and the trace of life extends from Jomon period to Heian period.
The ruins were most prosperous in the middle of the Yayoi period about 2000 years ago.
Excavations have found a large number of earthenware and stone tools, including round and square pits, graveyards with gutters, large gutters with many parallels. In particular, scale-type soil products (fundagar) have the largest number of excavations in the prefecture.
Currently, as a Yayoi period village representing West Harima, we are promoting the development of historical parks.
