National designated historic site on the summit of Mt. Rijin (altitude 373.3 M)
■Highlight
The three-story tower on Mt. Rijin was also called “Kumotsuki Castle” because of its dignity as if hitting a cloud. It was designated as a National Historic Site on October 13, 2017. Ishigaki groups such as Honmaru, Ninomaru and Osaka Kanmaru still outgrow the form of old days, but are now prohibited from entering the mountain because they are under development of mountain trails.
