Highlight

The main shrine is built in Sankei-san 流 ・ 檜, and is built in 1927 (1527). There are woodwork and sculptures that convey the style and techniques of the late Muromachi period, and they are decorated with bright blue colors. It was designated as an important cultural asset of the country in 1942, and its wonderful sculptures and delicate structures are preserved. Also, in recent years, a 4.5m by 7.2m Jumbo Ema depicting a zodiac sign is displayed, and it is said to be Japan’s best Ema. In spring, you can see the very rare variety “Syofukuji Sakura”, an endemic species of Hyogo Prefecture.

The Spring Festival is held on May 3rd, and the Autumn Festival is held on October 10.
