■Highlight
It is a large-scale compound site from Jomon period to the Middle Ages, built on a river terrace with panoramic views of the three-sided basin in the northern part of Ichinomiya Town, Sakai City. The compound site is one of the largest in West Japan, divided into four villages, Jomon, Yayoi, Kofun, and the Middle Ages (Heian and Kamakura). Restored to The Sakai City History Museum, located in the park, offers an even deeper experience of history and culture. In addition, there are a bamboo straw workshop, a wood workshop, and an experience workshop building of the earth workshop in the park, and you can also experience crafting experiences such as bamboo and wall work, woodworking loch, wood carving, and pottery.
